GMAD's 2nd Annual Walk for Farm Animals! Let's Get Moooooving!
Our 2nd Annual Walk for Farmed Animals is on Saturday October 6th!
Please remember to register by emailing Brenna@gmad.info.
Getting started is super easy!
Each walk participant will set up his/her own pledge site through First Giving (firstgiving.com), a highly reputable pledge site.
Get started! Follow these steps on www.firstgiving.com:
1. Click the green CREATE A PAGE link in the upper right corner of page.
2. Next, on the bottom under GET STARTED NOW you must choose a non profit to support. VERY IMPORTANT STEP: this is where you'll type in GREEN MOUNTAIN ANIMAL DEFENDERS. You choose us from the list, making sure our EIN shows up as 03-0283740, then choose START FUNDRAISING.
3. The site then prompts you with instructions on how to set up a page. Select SPORTING. FYI: When you enter your event date, it will tell you it hasnt found any events on that date and on the right side of page, you will enter the exact name of our event: Green Mtn Animal Defenders' Walk for Farm Animals and start creating your page.
Click on link below as an example of one of our walkers pledge pages. Feel free to use the wording/photo from her page for yours!
If anyone has any questions or problems, do not hesitate to email Brenna@gmad.info. We ask that each of you have your pledge sites set up no later than September 20th, but the sooner, the better! Please be sure to let Brenna know once your pledge site is up so that we can get an accurate head count for our walk.
Each walk participant who pledges $25 or more will receive our newly designed T-shirt!

We have set up our Lazy Lamb donation page for those who believe in our mission of protecting all animals, including farmed animals who often times suffer in silence.
