August 14 - Animal Rights 2008 National Conference

The Animal Rights 2008 National Conference, put on by Farm Animal Reform Movement (FARM), along with other national animal rights groups, is taking place August 14-18 in Alexandria, VA (a suburb of Washington, DC).

Highlights include 100 speakers from more than 60 organizations, 80+ free exhibits, 60+ videos, networking receptions, vegan food, cruelty-free shopping, celebrity & activist awards, and much more.

There's an early registration discount through May 31st. There are also staffing positions and room/ride share boards to help with costs. Check out the website for details at www.ARConference.org.
